Cold weather did not deter Trans Am racers with their thundering classic American muscle cars during the Zwartkops Inland championships over the weekend of July 28.
Michele Lupini with his Bridgestone shod Bosal BP Ultimate ’68 Chevrolet Camaro, made the best of the weather by securing pole position ahead of his arch-rival, Ben Morgenrood, driving a 1965 Ford Mustang.
Alan Poulter was the fastest driver in the 2l class race.
The next historic Trans Am is due at Zwartkop Raceway on September 2.
